The present invention relates to a device for measuring deposits, having a probe-like housing in which there are mounted sensors for physical measured quantities. Such measurements are carried out in boreholes during oil exploration. However, the prior art encounters problems with such measurements and delivers only inaccurate results, since the pump drive unfavourably affects the determination of the measured value. The present invention provides a remedy here by mounting the probe-like measuring housing no longer above the pump but below the submersible pump, in particular of the motor, so that the static and dynamic conditions of the deposits can be precisely detected.
