PURPOSE:To provide the excellent optical signal transmitter able to monitor optionally a transmission line even during usual information transmission without stopping usual information transmission for a check process of the transmission line. CONSTITUTION:The transmitter is provided with a transfer means 2 having a gap at a part of a transmission line through which an optical signal is sent, a transmission means sending plural optical signal with different wavelength from one end of the transfer means 2, a reception means receiving plural optical signals from the other end of the transfer means 2 and a light shield means 4 provided in the gap freely inserted or withdrawn and shielding the optical signal with a specific wavelength among optical signals passing through the gap at the insertion and transmitting the optical signals of other wavelength. |
