<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus and a process cartridge, provided with proper loading property of the process cartridge with respect to the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An opening and closing door 16, which can be opened and closed, and a moving guide 101, facing a plurality of process cartridges 2 in a state with the opening and closing door 16 being closed and integrally retaining an intermediate transfer body 35 provided on the opening and closing door and the plurality of process cartridges 2 so that when the opening and closing door 16 is opened, the plurality of process cartridges are separated are provided in a printer A which forms image on a recording medium P.
