PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator core that can easily reduce the inertia of a rotor, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: Each pole tooth 7 and an outer-edge piece 8 of a magnetic member 9 consisting of a yoke part 6 where a plurality of yoke pieces 6a are connected via a thin part 6b, the nib-shaped pole tooth 7 that is formed at each yoke piece 6a while the pole tooth 7 projects, and the outer-edge piece 8 that is formed at a side being different from the pole tooth 7 of each yoke piece 6a while the outer-edge piece 8 projects, are bent so that the pole tooth 7 and the outer-edge piece 8 are erected. At the same time, the thin part 6b is flexed, thus setting the magnetic member 9 to an annular shape for forming a core member 10, and combining a pair of the core members 10 while the pole tooth 7 and the outer-edge piece 8 are fitted each other.
