<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the small-turn performance with a simple structure in a multi-axle vehicle having three or more axles, such as a 6-wheel drive vehicle and an 8-wheel vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This multi-axle vehicle makes a turn by using intermediate driving wheels 34L, R and 36L, R disposed in one or more intermediate axles 24, 26 arranged between a front axle 22 and a rear axle 28. When making the turn, the vehicle controls a speed Vout of the intermediate driving wheels 34L, 36L at the outer side of the turn such that the speed Vout becomes faster than a vehicle speed V<SB>0</SB>, and controls a speed Vin of the intermediate driving wheel 34R, 36R at the inner side of the turn such that the speed Vin becomes slower than the vehicle speed V<SB>0</SB>. At the same time, the vehicle applies the brake to a rear or front wheel 36R or 32R at the inner side of the turn.
