Luminaire unit having a number of uncapped (wire-ended) filament lamps (incandescent lamps) which can be operated by low voltage and have terminal wires which are led out, the filament lamps located inside a transparent tube being in each case individually fastened to lamp holders which are constructed at the same time to receive power supply lines which penetrate the lamp holders, the lamp holders being constructed such that they do not obstruct the light emission of the individual lamps in the radial direction, that the lamps, individually or in groups, are connected in parallel and that the power is supplied from one of the ends of the transparent tube.
