PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard device and a traffic control system in which information on the traffic condition in a section can be displayed to a driver even when a section without any information collection or a section without any information transmission to the onboard device due to installation of a roadside device is generated. SOLUTION: The onboard device 40 in which the road traffic information displayed to at least drivers in the road control system is transmitted from the roadside device 20 detects the information on the traffic condition around a car 30 between the roadside device 20 and a section without any communication establishment is detected by sensors 41-44, and the information is transmitted to the roadside device 20 when the communication is established.
