PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide general-purpose measures for instantaneously imparting a disaster prevention function to various kinds of commercially available beds in response to an earthquake early warning or the signal of an earthquake vibration sensor, etc. SOLUTION: A plurality of U shape steel pipe frames crossing the commercially available bed lengthwise are prepared, and the body parts of the steel pipe frames are covered with high-strength non-woven fabrics. The obtained frame materials are stored while being superimposed by the same number on both side of the bed in a normal situation. The materials are quickly erected from both side of the bed by the driving force of an electric motor and locked, thereby forming a substantially semi-cylindrical shelter over the bed with the plurality of steel pipe frames as a framework in response to the earthquake early warning or the signal of the earthquake vibration sensor, etc. When the earthquake vibration is terminated, the frame materials are stored on both side of the bed as in its former state.
