PURPOSE:To execute weighing by a small number of weighting devices, by detecting by one piece of weighing device a weight value of an object to be weighed, which has been contained in each containing chamber of a weighing hopper which has been divided into plural containing chambers, and provided with an independent discharge gate in every containing chamber. CONSTITUTION:First of all, when an object to be weighed is thrown into each pool hopper 301-30n, discharge gates 311-31n are opened, and the object to be weighed which has been contained is contained in containing chambers 501-50n of one side of weighing hoppers 401-40n. This weighing value is weighed by each weighing device 261-26n, and stored as a weight value of the object to be weighed of the right side containing chamber. When the next object to be weighed is thrown into the pool hopper, discharge gates 321-32n are opened, and the object to be weighed is contained in containing chambers 511-51n of the other side of the weighing hopper. Subsequently, from the weighed value of this time, said stored weight value is subtracted, and a weight value of the object to be weighed of the left side containing chamber is derived. Thereafter, based on these weight values, an optimum combination against an aimed weight is selected.
