Connection set=up method for ISDN system

摘要

The method involves transmitting a SETUP protocol data element from a calling ISDN system. The protocol data element has as destination address the dialling number for a second ISDN network (6) and as destination subaddress the ISDN number of the called system. The requested connection according to the destination address is redirected using the corresponding switching centre of the first ISDN network (4) to an direct outward dialling system of the second ISDN network. A connection is set-up via the second ISDN network on the basis of the destination address.
