摘要

Novel pseudoceramides of formulae (Ia) and (Ib) are proposed, (Ia) (Ib) in which R<1> stands for a linear or branched alkyl and/or alkenyl residue having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, Y stands for oxygen or an NR<5> group, R<2> stands for hydrogen or an optionally hydroxy-substituted alkyl residue having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, R<3> stands for an hydroxyalkyl residue having 2 to 12 carbon atoms and 1 to 10 hydroxyl groups or a glycosyl residue, R<4> stands for an alkyl and/or alkenyl residue having 6 to 30 carbon atoms and R<5> stands for hydrogen or an optionally hydroxy-substituted alkyl residue having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. The substances are suitable as "synthetic barrier lipids" for producing skin-care agents.
