Carbon black pastes - for printing inks, derived from black/oil dispersions prod in oil gasification processes
摘要
The raw materials are mineral oil-carbon black suspensions formed in the splitting of hydrocarbons with air or oxygen by the submerged flame process, where they separate out on quenching the gas stream. Low-boiling hydrocarbons with unpleasant swell and detrimental to printing inks are pref. removed from the suspensions by stripping the hot product from the flame process with inert gases or by application of vacuum. The black obtained is weakly agglomerated and can be easily processed to printing ink pastes with optimum pigment dispersion by simple and fast dispersion methods.
