SINGLE-NUMBER ENCODING AND DECODING OF QUESTIONNAIRE RESPONSES

A questionnaire choice value (18) assignment method is defined. A process for encoding questionnaire answers as a single number (16) and its decoding to reveal the orginal respondent answers is disclosed; and the applicability and effectiveness of such a system in the efficient, accurate, convenient handling, transmission and processing of answers from questionnaires, surveys, polls, referenda, voting, plebiscites, elections, order lists, menus and other such items of answer-or data-gathering, is described.
