PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely determine a length of a paper in a paper feed direction without increasing the number of sensors in a paper feed tray unit.SOLUTION: A manual feed tray unit 71 is provided with a main body tray 73, an extension tray 75, a first paper sensor 91, and a second paper sensor 93. The extension tray 75 is rotatably arranged between an opening position and a folded position with respect to the main body tray 73, and includes a first surface 75a facing to an upper side when the extension tray is in the open position, and a second surface 75b facing to the upper side when the extension tray is in the folded position. The first paper sensor 91 is arranged on the first surface 75a. The second paper sensor 93 is arranged on the second surface 75b. When the extension tray 75 is in the open position, a length of a paper in a paper feed direction can be determined by the first paper sensor 91. When the extension tray 75 is in the folded position, the length of the paper Y in the paper feed direction can be determined by the second paper sensor 93.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
