PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device for the warning sign of an electrical installation accident capable of detecting the warning sign of the accident caused by the deterioration of the installation by monitoring all the time. SOLUTION: Based on sampling waveform data converted by an A/D conversion unit 1b, when a start-up determination unit 1e determines the waveform data of an object to be memorized, if the zero phase voltage or zero phase current of each electric power line is over a pre-set start-up level and if the duration in which the start-up level is continuously surpassed is≤1 cycle, the sampling waveform data, which are delayed by a certain period of time from a first waveform memory 4, are stored in a second waveform memory 5 by the amount of a pre-set time period. Based on the sampling waveform data stored in the second waveform memory 5, when the polarity of the maximum value of the zero phase current in all the plurality of the electric power lines connected to the bus-line of a house is shown to be the direction by which ground fault-current or short circuit current flows into the house from outside, a data analysis engine unit 2c determines that the warning sign of accident has appeared in the house.
