PURPOSE:To prevent the front end edge of a document which is taken in on the upper surface of a tray and aligned, from curling downward by providing a shutter member which has a comb tooth shaped tray, and a standable gate which is provided on the lower side of the front end of the tray, and is attached in such a manner that the leading end of the gate may elastically come into contact with the bottom surface of the tray. CONSTITUTION:A tray 6 with a side wall 6a which becomes an aligning reference surface in the width direction of a document being discharged from an upstream device, on one side end, and the front end part of which is formed into a comb tooth shape by arranging a plurality of tongue pieces 6b and notched parts 6c is provided. A gate 10 is standably attached on the lower side of the front end of the tray 6, and the gate 10 is energized to be always standing. Then, the gate 10 under the standing condition protrudes upward from the upper surface of the tray 6 and becomes an aligning reference surface in the longitudinal direction for a document, and shutter members 10b to correspond with the nearest notched part 6c to the side wall 6a of the tray are attached to the front surface of the gate 10. The shutter members 10b are held in such a manner that the shutter members 10b may elastically come into contact with the lower surface of the tray 6. Therefore, defective carrying can be prevented. |
