<p>PURPOSE: A numerical control system having performance of displaying real time three dimensional graphic and method thereof are provided to improve display manner of the tooling status of a workpiece in the numerical control system ("NC") that is used in working the workpiece by controlling a numerical controlled tooling machine. CONSTITUTION: In a numerical control system having performance of displaying real time three dimensional graphic and method thereof, the numerical control system comprises a numerical control unit(30) for analyzing a tooling program, generating tooling data, and distributing the tooling data; a three dimensional graphic display unit(20) for displaying the status of a workpiece as a three dimensional graphic on the basis of the tooling data generated from the numerical control unit(30); and a servo device(40) for controlling a numerical controlled tooling machine on the basis of the tooling data generated from the numerical control unit. The numerical control unit(30) comprises a tooling program corresponding to a desired tooling work; tooling memories(32, 33, 34) for storing a shape of a tool and user input values such as the dimension of the workpiece; and an analyzing/distributing device for selecting a proper tooling program stored in the tooling memories(32, 33, 34), analyzing the selected tooling program and generating tooling data, and transmitting the tooling data to the three dimensional graphic display unit(20) and the servo device(40) at the same time.</p> |
