PURPOSE: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium wide in the transparentizing temp. range of its reversible thermal recording layer, not generating the levitation of an org. low-molecular compd. deteriorating the original characteristics, excellent in contrast and enabling recording even under high temp. environment. CONSTITUTION: In a reversible thermal recording medium wherein a reversible thermal recording layer 4 is provided on at least one surface of a base material 1, the reversible thermal recording layer 4 contains a resin matrix, dicarboxylic acid and diester represented by formula ROCO-(CH2 )n -COOR' (R and R' are same or different 14-32C alkyl group and n is 14-22). |
