PURPOSE:To obtain a finely finished product by a method wherein the portion, which covers an ornament member, of a skin material is welded under slightly floated state and, after that, removed at weld lines. CONSTITUTION:A base material 11 is placed on a lower press platen 41 in such a manner that the underside of the peripheral edge of an ornament member 21, which is on the front side of the base material, is positioned to bearing faces. An upper press platen 45 is lowered so as to weld a part of a skin material 31 to the peripheral edge of the ornament member 21 with denture mold-like tips 48 under the state that a portion, which is located above the ornament member 21, of the skin material 31 is floated by inflating a baggy member 51 with fluid blown in through a fluid blowing pipe 44 just before the contact of the denture mold-like welding tips with the synthetic resin-based skin material 31 through the lowering of an upper press platen 45 in order to make weld lines. Simultaneously, a portion, which is made thinner by the expansion force of the bag-like member 51, of the skin material 31 is cut off with fusing-off blades 47 in order to separate the portion, which covers the ornament member 21, of the skin material 31 from the skin material. As a result, whitening due to surplus portions, which develop along the weld lines, of the ornament member is prevented from occurring, resulting in obtaining a nice-looking product. |
