<p>Described are novel uses of GHRH-RP polypeptides for specifically activating Sertoli cell expression of stem cell factor and promoting spermatogenesis and fertility, and for inhibiting GHRH-RP activity to decrease or eliminate spermatogenesis and fertility. Also described are pharmaceutical compositions for such uses, and transgenic animals lacking expression of or expressing introduced DNA encoding GHRH-RP polypeptides.</p> |
