<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe management system capable of searching the position of a safe with pinpoint accuracy and reducing costs rather than a conventional system. <P>SOLUTION: A safe 10 used in the safe management system is provided with a GPS receiver 1 to output its own positional information, a radio transceiver 2, and a memory 3 to store a data log related to the cash stored in the safe. The safe 10 attached to an automatic cash handling device 21 communicates with and is managed by a monitoring control server 22 and a collecting operation server 31 via a wide area network 50. The safe 10 can communicate by the radio transceiver 2 so that the locating position (pinpoint display) of the safe 10 and the amount of stored money can be grasped by the monitoring control server 22 and the collecting operation server 31 nearly in real time even if the safe 10 is detached from the automatic cash handling device 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
