PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coloring or discoloring, while changing a hue, and to obtain a material therefor. SOLUTION: This coloring or discoloring method while changing the hue comprises bringing an agent A into contact with an agent B existing in a non- contact state with the agent A to polymerize the oxidatively polymerizable coloring matter. The agent A and the agent B comprise the combination of an oxidatively polymerizable coloring matter with an oxidizing agent. The coloring or discoloring material comprises a layer containing the agent A carried on a carrier and the agent B existing in a non-contact state with the agent A, and can change the hue by brining the agent A into contact with the agent B to polymerize the oxidatively polymerizable coloring matter. |
