PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generating device capable or efficiently generating mist even in the low supply pressure and the small supply quantity of water to form mist, reducing the noise disagreeable to the ears due to the drift of the supplied water and suppressing the water leakage. SOLUTION: The mist generating device for generating mist from water by causing the collision of air jet stream 19 with the water dropped to be supplied is provided with a water stably supply means for stably supplying water to the air jet stream 19. A water dropping guide 25 arranged toward the air jet stream as the water stably supply means. The mist generating efficiency is improved and the discomfort noise due to the drift is suppressed by dropping water along the water dropping guide 25 to make the water uniformly flow along the outer periphery of the water dropping guide 25 to supply the water to the air jet stream 19 by the surface tension of water without causing the flow rate fluctuation or the drift of the water.
