Thermal developing device, especially for laser=formed medical images

The device (21) is used for thermal developing of a latent image on a sheet, which is guided by equipment which is in the form of a plate. The guiding equipment has a heating device of greater width. In the width direction, both ends of the heating device project outwards over the lateral ends of the guiding equipment. The heating device may have a width which is at least 20 mm greater than that of the guiding equipment, and the latter may have an unevenness in the surface which faces the sheet. The heating device and guiding equipment may also be mounted on a frame component, via a heat-insulating element.
