PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high color developing density even when the developing time is greatly reduced and to improve changes in the picture quality due to changes in the cyan dye density during the print is stored, by controlling the total amt. of hydrophobic binders in photographic structural layers in a photosensitive material to a specified range and incorporating dispersion of specified oleophilic fine particles into a silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan coupler. SOLUTION: This photosensitive material contains an emulsion having a high silver chloride content in which silver halide particles have >95 mol% silver chloride content, and the total content of hydrophilic binders in the photographic structural layers is 3.0 to 7.4 g/m2. The silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan coupler contains dispersion of oleophilic fine particles containing a cyan coupler expressed by the formula and a high boiling point org. solvent having >=200 m/Pa.s viscosity at 25 deg.C. In the formula, Y is -NHCO- or-CONH-, R1 is an alkyl group, aryl group or the like, X is a hydrogen atom, halogen atom or the like, R2 is an alkyl, group, acylamino group or the like, Z is a hydrogen atom or a group which can be released during coupling with the oxidizing portion of a developing agent.
