PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head reducing defective printing.SOLUTION: An ink jet head includes: a substrate 11 in which a plurality of rows of a plurality of piezoelectric members 151 and 152 arrayed in one direction are disposed in parallel; a nozzle plate which covers a plurality of pressure chambers 17 formed between the plurality of piezoelectric members and forms each of a plurality of nozzles 14 corresponding to the plurality of pressure chambers; and an ink chamber 110 having either an ink supply port 21 or an ink discharge port 22 shared between adjacent discharge areas so as to fill a plurality of discharge areas 101 and 102 including a plurality of pressure chambers divided for each row of the plurality of piezoelectric members and the plurality of nozzles with ink.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
