PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject oily ink capable of providing printed matter having vivid image and excellent in charge stability, re-dispersibility, storage stability and printing resistance by dispersing specific resin particles. SOLUTION: This oily ink is obtained by dispersing resin particles into a non-aqueous carrier solution having >=10<9> Ωcm electrical resistance and <=3.5 permittivity. The resin particles comprises a polymer obtained by polymerizing and granulating a solution containing (i) one or more kinds of monofunctional monomers A soluble in a non-aqueous solvent which is miscible with the non- aqueous carrier and made insoluble by polymerization, (ii) one or more kinds of monomer B represented by formula I E<1> is >=8C aliphatic group or a group of formula II [R21 is H or 1-18C aliphatic; B1 and B2 are each O, S, etc., A1 and A2 are each a 1-18C hydrocarbon or a group of formula III (B3 and B4 are each B1 ; A4 is 1-18C hydrocarbon which may be replaced; R23 is R21 ; (p) is 0-4); (n) and (m) are each p]; (n) and (m) are each (p)]; U<1> is COO, CONH, etc.; a<1> and a<2> are each H, an alkyl, etc.} copolymerizable with the monomer A and (iii) one or more kinds of resins for disperse stability soluble in a non- aqueous solvent and not having a graft group polymerizable with a monomer. |
