PURPOSE:To prevent step-out by providing an arbitrary function for setting an acceleration time of a brushless motor from standstill state to an operating frequency thereby starting a motor while synchronizing positively. CONSTITUTION:The motor control method performs drive control of a brushless motor, comprising a stator having a plurality of phases of stator windings and a rotor having a plurality of poles of permanent magnets, without requiring a rotor position sensor. When the brushless motor is started, accelerating/ decelerating time upto a preset operating frequency is determined according to an arbitrary function and thus determined accelerating/decelerating time is employed in the control of brushless motor. According to the invention, the motor can be started positively in a short time without requiring any special operation and step-out of brushless motor can be prevented. |
