PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure of a vehicle tail gate which can suppress the intrusion of water into a cabin side from a clearance of a boundary portion between a tip of a flange part and a weather strip by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A seal structure of a vehicle tail gate comprises: a tail gate opening part 3; a lower gate 9b which closes a lower-side region of the tail gate opening part; an upper gate 9a which closes an upper-side region of the tail gate opening part; a flange part 13 which is arranged at an upper end of the lower gate, and abuts on a weather strip 5; a superimposition part 15 which is arranged at a lower end of the upper gate, and superimposed on the flange part of the lower gate from the outside of a vehicle; and a center weather strip 17 which is arranged at a face opposing the flange part of the superimposition part. The center weather strip has a side seal 21 which straddles a boundary portion k between a tip of the flange part and the weather strip, and abuts on both the flange part and the weather strip, and a rib 25 which extends so as to pass the vicinity of a sideway of the boundary portion is arranged in a region at least at the outside of the vehicle rather than an abutment area 23 abutting on the weather strip while straddling the boundary portion out of a seal face 21a of the side seal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
