PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting head of an electronic component, which lengthens the life of clamping nozzles without causing a trouble in switching operation of clamping nozzles. SOLUTION: A mounting head of electronic component mounting apparatus is provided with a nozzle holder 41 whereupon a plurality of apparatus nozzles 14 are mounted to be freely protruded/withdrawn, a holder supporting member 42 which holds the nozzle holder 41 to freely rotated on the axis, and a rotation drive means 45 which forward and reversely rotates the nozzle holder 41 on the axis. The nozzle holder 41 is rotated so as to position a discretionary clamping nozzle 1 to be used among the clamping nozzle 14 at a protruding position, by using a rotation drive means 45, and the clamping nozzle 14 is protruded from the lower edge plane of the nozzle holder 41 at the protruding position. The mounting head is provided with a cam follower 56, which is mounted on the upper part of each clamping nozzle 14, and a ring-shaped end cam 48 having a protruding cam face 49a, which permits a plurality of cam followers 56 to slide on and makes the clamping nozzle 14 protrude, and the clamping nozzle 14 is protruded and withdrawn. |
