In an assembly for bodies of motor vehicles, in particular passenger cars, the components which are permanently connected to one another are of stepped construction at the connection points so that during hot-dip galvanising which simultaneously brings about dip-soldering zinc can be deposited on the steps, as a result of which the rigidity and solidity of the assembly is especially increased.
