The display stand has side pieces (A,B) and a joining piece (C) which each have lateral slots. These have projections on their lower surface and there are projections (F,F') on the front of the pieces. Intermediate parts (P1,P1') are held between the side and joining pieces. The joining piece has two horizontal lateral slots. The intermediate parts have two rows of holes that correspond to the projections in the lateral slots of the side and joining pieces. Front end plates (d,d') clip on to the projections on the front part of each piece.
