PRODUCTION METHOD OF COMPLEX OF HYDROXYAPATITE AND POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily forming an excellent biocompatible complex with a firm connection of hydroxyapatite, useful as a material for an artificial bone or the like on a surface of a polymer base plate.

SOLUTION: The method to make the complex of hydroxyapatite and the polymer is that a solid polymer is soaked in a solution including hydroxyapatite which is produced by adding a polymer electrolyte in an aqueous solution including calcium ions and phosphoric acid ions to form a hydroxyapatite capsule on the surface of the polymer base plate. This method can provide hydroxyapatite which is firmly connected to the polymer without adding a buffer solution to adjust pH in the solution including hydroxyapatite.
