Pancakes are delivered (10, 11) onto the upper surface of a plate (2) with a central opening, and a container beneath. These plates are moved stepwise along a conveyor, always keeping vertical. The center of the pancake is pushed down (B) through the opening, a filling is added and the pancake closed like a bag (C) using a shutter type device and then removed (D).
