PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectifier capable of electrically conducting a plurality of sets of segments facing each other by one metal plate 12. SOLUTION: On the metal plate 12 included in a rectifier, there are provided six segment connecting parts 19 which are electrically connected with individual segments, and a space between the segment connecting parts 19 adjacent in the circumferential direction are insulated by slits 26 provided in the radial direction. On the metal plate 12, there are provided continuity parts 18 which link the segment connecting parts 19 facing each other and the continuity parts 18, is formed to be lower than other a plate surface by one step of the thickness thereof. In the six segments, the segments adjacent in the circumferential direction are insulated by the slits 26, and the two segments facing each other are electrically conducted through segment connecting parts 19 and the continuity parts 18 of the metal plate 12.
