PURPOSE:To provide a detecting device for detecting a focused state or a object distance capable of calculating the deviated amount of an image with high accuracy except the part of a large error by preferentially calculating the part of the high degree of coincidence between two lines of image information. CONSTITUTION:A pair of distance measuring lenses 3, 4 are arranged on the position symmetric with the datum axis O of a photographing lens 2 and a pair of photodetector arrays 5, 6 are arranged in the rear. The arrays 5, 6 are controlled by means of a CCD control parts 7, 8 and a pair of image signals are obtained. The degree of coincidence of the pair of signals is calculated by the element unit of the photodetector arrays 5, 6 by means of an integral shifting arithmetic circuit 9, interpolation calculation is performed in a decimal arithmetic circuit 10 and the precise distribution of the degree of coincidence is obtained. When the deviated amount of a pair of signals is calculated in a deviated amount arithmetic circuit 12, by heavily weighting the part of the large degree of coincidence in a weighting arithmetic circuit 11, the highly reliable deviated amount is obtained. |
