PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to form a liquid crystal oriented film to which the orientation performance of liquid crystal molecules is surely imparted by subjecting a resin film to an orientation treatment even when the baking temp. at the time of forming the resin film is low by incorporating a specific polyamic acid and an imidized polymer having a structure obtd. by dehydration ring closure of this polyamic acid. SOLUTION: This oriented film agent contains a polyamic acid obtd. by bringing tetracarboxylic dianhydride contg. tetracarboxylic dianhydride expressed by formulas I to III and diamine compd. into reaction and the polymer selected from the imidized polymer having the structure obtd. by dehydration ring closure of the polyamic acid. In the formula, R<1> , R<2> , R<4> , R<5> , R<8> , R<9> denote the bivalent groups selected from among oxy groups and carbonyloxy groups; R<3> , R<6> , R<7> , R<10> , R<11> denote 1 univalent groups selected from among 1 to 12C straight chains or branched alkoxyl groups, etc.; (a) to (c) each denotes an integer from 0 to 4; (d), (c) each denotes an integer from 0 to 3. |
