A method for producing a setting calcium carboznate is characterized by calcining a shell and cokes at the temperature of 800-1300 deg.C under vacuum condition of 2-4mmHg, crushing obtained jcalcined lime to a size of 325 mesh, hydrating it with glycerine and formalin of 1-2 wt.% to total weight in water, and adding activated silicic acid, ammonia water and CO2 to this suspension. It brings a solution to reduce decomposition temperature and time of lime stone, the quantity of CaCO3 consumed, and reaction time of hydration. This powder of calcium carbonate is very fine, high dispersive, and porous.
