PURPOSE:To permit to control the width of spark advance effectively by a method wherein the charge initiating voltage of one of capacitors is changed in a device, in which the timing of ignition is controlled by comparing the charging voltages of two capacitors. CONSTITUTION:The charging waveform X of the first capacitor begins the charging thereof at the charge initiating voltage Vg from an angular position A of a first crank and stops the charging at the angular position B of the second crank. The charging waveform Y of the second capacitor begins the charging thereof at the angular position B of the second crank. When both of the waveforms X, Y have coincided, the waveform X begins discharge and outputs an igniting signal when the voltage has arrived at the predetermined voltage Vr. Said voltage Vg is controlled in accordance with the vacuum of an engine or the like. According to this method, the width of the spark advance of the ignition timing may be controlled. |
