Surgical adhesive containing solubilised collagen

Biologically compatible, biologically non-absorbable and non-toxic adhesive compositions (A) contain at least one biodegradable macromolecular polyaldehyde (I) of natural origin, such as an oxidised starch or a polyaldehyde having similar stability properties, in aqueous solution. Also claimed are the preparation of compositions (A) which also contain a collagen, kits containing these and a process for bonding biological materials using them.
