PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an electrode utilization factor and cycle characteristic of a solid electrolyte battery. SOLUTION: This solid electrolyte battery 12 comprises a positive electrode 1, a solid electrolyte layer 7 arranged on the positive electrode 1, and a negative electrode 4 arranged on the solid electrolyte layer 7. In this case, the solid electrolyte layer 7 has a multi-layer structure having more than two layers of a first solid electrolyte layer 8 and a second solid electrolyte layer 9 from a positive electrode side. The first solid electrolyte layer 8 is formed from polymer having a glass transition point measured by a differential scanning calorimeter not higher than -60 deg.C and number average molecular weight not less than 0.1 million. At least one layer except the first solid electrolyte layer 8 out of the solid electrolyte layers in the multi-layer structure is formed from cross-linked polymer solid electrolyte having functional group capable of cross- linking. |
