PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preserve a medical device, for example, a contact lens in a sterilized environment without applying any chemical additive by forming a medical device container of a multi-layered material comprising a first layer consisting of a specified plastic material and a second layer consisting of silicon dioxide, urethane, etc. SOLUTION: At least a part of a medical device container is formed of a multi-layered material which is capable of transmitting at least 30% of the radiation of 240-280 nm to be irradiated on the container over its whole surface, and transmitting no microorganism. A first layer of this multi-layered material includes materials to be selected from a group comprising a polyolefin, a polyolefin copolymer, a cyclo-olefin polymer, a cyclo-olefin copolymer, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, a polyamide, and a polyimide. A second layer includes a material to be selected from the group comprising an adhesive, silicon dioxide, urethane, polyester, an aliphatic polyester and an acrylic derivative. |
