PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the transmission power and to reduce the interference power to another or its own cell by increasing the diffusion rate of a pilot channel rather than the diffusion rate of a communication channel. SOLUTION: An outgoing radio channel is composed of X pieces of diffusion codes, a diffusion code 1 is allocated as the pilot channel, and the other code is allocated as the communication channel. In this case, the diffusion rate of the pilot channel is increased in comparison with the communication channel. Thus, the number of diffusion chips consisting of one symbol is increased and when occupied frequency band width is fixed, time for one symbol is prolonged as well. Therefore, since the pilot channel increases its diffusion rate in comparison with the communication channel, transmission power can be reduced rather than the value required for equalizing the diffusion rate with the communication channel. Thus, interference power applied from the pilot channel to the other cell for present cell is reduced as well and the influence of capacitive degradation can be reduced. |
