<p>Computerised control of the running of a cement clinker furnace is based on the measurement of the turning moment required for revolving the furnace and a synchroniser which sends a signal after completion of each revolution to a computer with a memory bank which stores the data it receives over a number of revolutions, and between receiving signals, sends out signals controlling the running of the kiln.</p> |
