A street light for electric shock prevention using two insulation rings is provided to prevent electric current from flowing in the outer post even when a current leakage occurs in the electric appliance installed inside the inner post. A street light for electric shock prevention comprises a streetlight post(1), a horizontal support(2), and a lamp unit(3). The streetlight post is vertically fixed on the ground. The horizontal support is combined on the upper end of the streetlight post and extends towards the road. The lamp unit is combined to the end of the horizontal support. The streetlight post is composed of an inner post(4) which is formed from the ground to the upper side of the horizontal support, and an outer post(5) which is insulated and formed to the specific height for electric shock prevention. A foundation(7) of the streetlight and a base member(6) are formed on the bottom of the inner post. The outer post is provided with a bottom insulation ring(30) on the bottom, a top insulating ring(20) on the top, and a silicon rubber packing(40) on the upper side of the top insulation ring. An insertion ring(8) made of insulator is provided between the inner and outer posts.
