PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality in image processing for operating the pixel value of a multiple resolution image.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: color separation means for separating image data into brightness components and color components; adjustment means for generating a parameter for adjusting second image data of the brightness components in accordance with the pixel value of first image data of the brightness components acquired by the color separation means; processing means for operating the pixel value of multiple resolution image data generated from the first image data of the brightness components, and using the parameter generated by the adjustment means to generate second image data of the brightness components; and combination means for combining the second image data of the brightness components generated by the processing means with the image data of the color components acquired by the color separation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
