Multi color rotational ball that has embedded magnetic particles and responds to an electrical field

The display uses balls that respond to a combination of electrical and magnetic fields. Within the ball structure there is a number of magnetic dipoles formed with fine particles of a permanent magnetic material. The susrface of the ball is divided into sectors that have pigments to form different colours. The ball may be addressed by applying an electrical field to position the ball.
