PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a porous ceramic material, having holes of a specific dimension mutually communicating with an external space through capillary void passages and high biocompatibility and useful for osteoanagenesis, other medical applications, materials for electronic equipment and genetic engineering. CONSTITUTION:The objective method is to mix 20-300 pts.wt. sublimable solid substance powder having 1-600mum grain diameter with 100 pts.wt. calcium phosphate compound powder, and, as desired, organic fiber having >=5mm length and 1-30mum diameter, press forming the resultant mixture into a desired shape and dimension, heating the formed compact at 300-500 deg.C temperature, subliming and removing the sublimable substance (and carbonizing the organic fiber), then heating the obtained compact to 800-1350 deg.C temperature and sintering the calcium phosphate compound powder (burning and removing the carbide). |
