PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which can securely and easily decide whether or not stamping is normally carried out. SOLUTION: Foil having been stamped is irradiated with light and photographed by a camera, the area of a part punched out by the stamping is measured, and it is decided whether or not the area is within a specific range to inspect whether or not the sampling is done normally.
