PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the replacement of ROM by forming an opening for allowing the disposition of ROM to expose between a conductive plate member covering a part of a printed board and a main body case, and coating detachably a conductive coating plate on the opening. SOLUTION: A cover plate 3 is provided at the main body 1 of a serial printer so as to cover a part of a printed board 2. A paper guide plate 10 is fixed thereon as a conductive plate 10, and an opening 8 is made for exposing a disposition place of ROM 7 of a printed board between a folded piece 4 formed by folding an end part on this side of the cover plate 3 and a main body case 6. In the case of replacing ROM 7, it is conducted by removing the cover plate 3 from the opening 8. This not only can facilitate a replacement work of ROM, but also can protect the inner part thereof positively by covering the opening with the cover plate at all times. |
